Dress Barn Layaway

May 22, 2019 update: In May 2019, the parent company of Dress Barn announced that it will close all 650 stores. Ascena Retail Group will continue to operate Lane Bryant, Ann Taylor, and Loft. While no timeline has been given for the closure, LayawayPlans.net recommends that shoppers pay off and retrieve any items that they have on layaway at Dress Barn as soon as possible.

Dress Barn, the nationwide women’s clothing store founded in 1962, allows items to be placed on layaway for 30 days. A 20 percent deposit is required, and a service charge is assessed as well. At least half of the balance must be paid two weeks later and the remained at the end of the 30 days.
